Finding the Calling: A Journey of Comfort and Presence
My desire to serve as an end-of-life companion was cultivated over many moons of caring for elderly and terminally ill friends. In those quiet moments, I saw a deep need for a comforting presence: someone to share time, energy, and a listening ear with those who are transitioning.
Witnessing the struggle and the beauty of these moments inspired me to become an Eternal Rest Death Doula. I realized that while the journey is inevitable, it does not have to be faced with fear. My mission is to offer holistic support and a grounding presence to ease the hearts of those moving forward and the families who walk beside them.
